I used the Artcast to seal the edges of an oak coffee table before using the Deep Casting and it worked great!

I needed to do a small retouch on a river table project and worked with the Artcast product for the first time. As usual, Designer Epoxy didn't disappoint. The use was easy, the turnaround time, from application to cure, allowed me to complete the project without adding a bunch of time, and the results were just as I expected. And... the personal note that comes with each order really makes me glad that I'm connected to this company!

I bought the Epoxy, to fill voids in wooden bowls I have been turning. I partially turned the bowl, found that there was a crack across the bottom, and did not want to loose the bowl as it had wild grains and colour. I mixed some of the epoxy with a fire engine red dye, and having taped off the bottom filled the cavity. I was using black gaffers tape, and while the tape initially held somewhere in the hardening process, the epoxy found a pin hole crack and gave part of my bench a lovely coating of epoxy, which was not easy to chip off. I then used a metal tape designed for duct work and found it worked much better. I am delighted with the final result and will now be dreaming of other places I can use it as an accent to fill voids and increase the beauty of my creations, Thanks Designer Epoxy, it is a great product, albeit one I had to experiment with to learn how to use it.

I began using this company's resin approx one year ago. I had tried using other resins for my art work....from applying resin on my many paintings initially to sculpting with resin. Initially I only used the 'casting resin' as the deep cast seemed like 'over kill' for the work I was doing at the time. I found issues with other resins from yellowing, to countless micro bubbles so badly that the distortion of the elements I had placed in the resin left one wondering 'what is that in there?', to even having on one painting I did, a spot of mold..yes black mold! Thankfully only 1 spot and on one painting but at the price I paid for the resin? Ridiculous! The resin was 'supposed' to be at the top of the research for NOT yellowing. BS! And it was not an out of date product either! I am aware that they say 'all resins yellow eventually' but within 2 weeks? Come on let's be real here....it should not yellow so quickly especially when the art work has not been in the sun and when the colors used were not primarily white (white usually shows up the yellowing quite quickly so my paintings of choice to resin were very colorful which was easy to do given I was doing landscapes at the time). I also had another resin with fumes that filled my entire house including the basement! The fumes did not dissipate quickly either despite my opening all the windows and doors! Another resin flash cured in my 'bubble remover' within minutes of my putting the resin in it...scaring the 'chit' out of me! So by chance I found this Designer epoxy website and took a chance and put in a small order. Wow! Just wow! Clear? AS GLASS...so clear I had difficulty taking photos that didn't look like glass lol! And bubbles? I didn't have to pre warm it either before putting it my bubble remover! I cannot say enough about this resin. I hope my pictures will show the proof of what I am saying! I have moved on and am using the deep cast now as well! That is about the product....I now have to put in my highest regards/reviews regarding the owner of this company...Gabriel! It would take a book to begin to tell you about the attributes of this individual but let me tell you.....if you have ANY issues, any at all....talk to him! He can answer any of your questions regarding the use of his products and he is so polite, so pleasant with a great sense of humor. He is the ultimate professional. He has never lost his patience with me when I have called him outside of work hours when I have forgotten the difference in time zones lol! He has never ever made me feel stupid, inferior or less then I am! He has also taken it upon himself to rectify issues that were NOT of his making (Canada Post has had some issues lol). He not only rectified the issues but went far beyond what any other individual, owner or otherwise, has ever done ! I will be a loyal customer for both reasons....the product itself and the man that stands behind his product!

For the past couple of years, I've been purchasing resin and pigments from Designer Epoxy. Their products have consistently been of the highest quality. The resin is crystal clear and when used at the right temperature, I haven't experienced any issues with bubbles. It's a foolproof process that I can always rely on.
