Spectacular resin at a great price. Deepest pouring epoxy I've found. Most companies call 2-3" 'deep pour' (I found 1 that does 4"). This stuff does 5-1/2"!!!

I have 2 years of woodturning experience (40 years of woodworking) and I create wood and epoxy resin bowls. I only use Designer Epoxy products in my turnings. I investigated and tried some different epoxy makers and was having some issues with air bubbles and clarity. And then I discovered Designer Epoxy due to watching weekly videos from Jim Sprague's YouTube channel. And Designer Epoxy is hands down the best of all. Best quality, best price and most important great customer support. I quickly got into doing juried craft shows, and I truly believe that DE's resins and color tints make my bowls stand out and sell. I am now doing about 15 shows in PA and NJ and enjoying my craft. I am in the USA and Designer Epoxy recently opened a USA Northwest location to help alleviate the USA/Canada tariff (tax) costs for their customers, This is very impressive to me that they took steps to keep and support their customers. Joe is the person in charge at their new location and he is outstanding! If he thinks there might be an issue or question with my orders, he has called me asap to explain and then we fix it. Just simply great customer service and I appreciate it. 2 things I recommend to newcomers or others researching new epoxy resins: 1- Buy from Designer Epoxy with no worries, their stuff is the best. I have been able to get in juried craft shows on 1st attempts. People are amazed at the brilliant colors due to DE's tints. 2 - Watch Jim Sprague's YT channel. He is a master at this stuff. He is the person I have learned wood/resin turning from. His channel and work is top notch. If you look at DE's instructional videos, you will see Jim in the DE videos. Thank you to everyone at DE. Sure there are other epoxys out there and closer but I believe Designer Epoxy is far superior to the others . Better working time and ability to to deep pours without fear of thermal cracks .

Great epoxy. Thin consistency and long cure insures that the nooks and crannies are filled. Easy to order and fast shipping makes this company great as well. A hint for folks turning this epoxy on a lathe. Turn it soon after it initially cures, about 72 hours. Over time, two weeks or so, the epoxy hardens to a very brittle surface and is hard to turn without chip out. Love this stuff.

I want to share both my experiences with the Deep Cast and the casting resin by posting a few photos. I am putting up the clearest resin pieces I created....and there were a few amidst all the many projects I have done. This is GREAT resin ...and I am so pleased with it so much so that I do not purchase any other. I have tried others ...and the odd thing is I have work that I have done with some of the more expensive resins that within a year have yellowed...but the pieces were in a closet and out of any direct sunlight!! Imagine that lol! The huge pyramid crystal that is in one of my photos is almost 3 years old and has been in a sunlight room and has yet to yellow! I should have dusted it before taking the photo but it is as clear as water and did you see? No bubbles even though I do not own/use a vaccum chamber. THAT is a great resin! The other project has a dragon's claw holding a silver orb in it....but the outside is of RESIN....no bubbles...no yellowing at all! And the other photo is of some pieces I did with the casting resin...again...clear.......no bubbles...tho it may look like there are micro bubbles there are not. It is the mat on which I took the photos. Overall? I am 110% pleased with their products including the colorants I have used...the micro powders. They are so delicious... I have a hard time choosing which ones to use at times. The dragon claw is an example of some of the colors. Anyways just thought I would chime in with my opinion. And oh yeah,....their service is top of the line! Fast, professional and so pleasant. One couldn't ask for nicer people!

I have used most of the major bands of deep pour epoxy, I can tell you Designer Epoxy is the best! I never have issues I see with other brands of thermal cracking or voids in the castings. It cuts very well and the price is very competitive. You need to make this YOUR brand of choice!

Enjoying your products. They are performing well. And the end results are respectable. Strongly suspect the final products will get better with practice. Still learning how to best use your deep pour epoxy product for bowl turnings/inlays and crack repair. The long pot time/ temperature requirements are a bit of a learning curve along with the need to be very accurate with part A and B proportions.

We heard about this epoxy from the Sprague Woodturning channel on Youtube a few years ago and decided to try it out. I've used several of the major US brands over the last 10 years. I find Designer Epoxy Deep Cast to be equal in quality at about half the price I used to pay. Excellent service too! Now everyone in our neighborhood woodshop has switched. I mostly turn bowls from mesquite root balls I get in the desert. Here's a photo of a bowl I made from pinecones.

I love this stuff! The Deep Cast works wonderful when making wood and resin bowls and vases. I use it with Designer Epoxy pigments and I can't praise the Hypershift enough. Since switching to Designer Epoxy resin from other brands, I have seen a noticeable difference in my products.

Amazing stuff! I saw Jack Sprague on you-tube using Designer Epoxy (he's the best) and thought I'd give it a try. This deep pour resin outshines them all. Mixes so easy so you don't induce a bunch of bubbles. Dries perfectly crystal clear. The best epoxy on the market for sure.

I have been buying Designer Epoxy for quite awhile now, maybe over ten kits. Deep Cast and the Designer Pro series. Most impressed with quality and what I have found, the best prices. I mostly use the Deep cast for river tables but recently used the Designer epoxy as a protective top coat. I needed some assistance and Gabriel was kind enough to set up a phone call to take me through the steps. Now talk about awesome service.
